A recent upgrade in uTorrent has been released. Even though v1.8 has been around for a bit, a new build came out on August 13th.

— 2008-08-13: Version 1.8 (build 11813)
- Fix: do not check routing for IPs when a proxy is in use
- Fix: replace backslashes in file paths for multifile URL seeding with forward slashes
- Fix: incorrect bencode key sorting on keys where one is a subset of the other
Now, I’m just curious. How do YOU say uTorrent?
- YOU-Torrent
- Micro-Torrent
- Mu-Torrent
I used to say MicroTorrent until a bunch of EVERYONE started using YOU-Torrent — Including the author[1] of uTorrent.
Besides, uTorrent is much easier to type than Start>Run>Charmap>Search/EyeStrain>Copy>Paste-Torrent. You know what I’m talkin’ about.

It’s not uTorrent but µTorrent. ‘μ’ (pronounced “me”, as in, tell me …) is the greek small letter ‘m’.
Because you could not use other letters than lattin in urls, the closest latin look-alike is u.
So should be pronounced like me-torrent.

Ah! Now that is an award winning explanation. Thanks for the information.
You could start a whole new brand with that… me-Mail, me-Pod…
